Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Editor-in-Chief to lead our editorial team . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our audience, a strong editorial voice, and proven leadership in content creation and management. This role requires exceptional editorial judgment, creativity, and the ability to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
*Define and oversee the editorial vision, voice, and content strategy across all platforms.
*Manage and mentor a team of editors, writers, and contributors to produce high-quality, engaging, and accurate content.
*Ensure editorial standards and ethics are consistently upheld.
*Plan, assign, and edit content that aligns with the publication’s mission and audience interests.
*Oversee publishing schedules and ensure timely content delivery.
*Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to enhance reader experience.
*Monitor industry trends and audience analytics to inform editorial direction.
*Represent the publication at events, in media appearances, and in stakeholder meetings.
*Manage editorial budgets and freelance contracts.
*Oversee crisis communication and content-related legal or reputational issues.

Requirements:
*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
*2-3+ years of editorial experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior editorial role.
*Proven track record of managing editorial teams and large-scale content operations.

Skills:
*Strong Communication Skills.*Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
*Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
*In-depth knowledge of editorial processes and publishing platforms (e.g., CMS, SEO, social media).
*Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives.
*Understanding of media law, copyright, and editorial ethics.

Preferred:
*Experience in digital publishing and audience development.
*Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Chartbeat, or Parse.ly.
