Editorial Manager

An Editorial Manager oversees the entire editorial production process from idea generation to publication. They manage content creation, editing, quality control, and implementation across multiple formats such as articles, blog posts, press releases, social media updates, and more. The role involves coordinating with writers, editors, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure content aligns with the company or publication’s voice, brand, and audience goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing editorial strategies and plans.Supervising editorial teams and freelance contributors.
• Editing and proofreading all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guides.
• Managing editorial calendars and deadlines to ensure timely publication.
• Conducting research for editorial stories and identifying new content opportunities.
• Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to promote products or strengthen brand presence.
• Ensuring legal and ethical standards, such as copyrights and permissions, are met.
• Applying SEO knowledge to maximize content reach where applicable.Leading team meetings, training, and fostering a supportive work environment.
