About the Role :
Assistant/Associate Manager – Social Media to lead and execute the digital content strategy for Beauty or Fashion. This role calls for a beauty/fashion-obsessed, trend-savvy professional who understands the unique DNA of Nykaa's Beauty/Fashion and its audience. You’ll be responsible for creating and amplifying content that resonates with our consumers, grows brand presence, and drives engagement across key platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels.

Content & Social Media Management

Develop and execute monthly social media calendars for Beauty/Fashion, focusing on new launches, product storytelling, brand campaigns, and cultural moments.

Build launch communication strategies aligned with Beauty/Fashion’s brand ethos and positioning.

Schedule and publish posts, reels, and stories using platform tools (Instagram Insights, Socialbakers).

Plan and oversee YouTube content for Beauty/Fashion — from concepting to optimization.
Creative Strategy & Innovation

Ideate and execute fresh, high-engagement content tailored to Nykaa's audience.

Monitor trends, aesthetics, and content formats to keep the brand relevant and aspirational.

Collaborate with brand building, design, marketing, and production teams for 360° campaign execution.
Campaign Execution & Production

Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns (product launches, festive drops, collaborations).

Manage content shoots — pre-production (briefing, prop/product planning), production, and post-production.

Ensure visual and tonal consistency across all assets.
Performance Marketing Support

Identify high-performing social assets for boosting to drive reach, engagement, and conversions.

Partner with the performance marketing team to align content with growth objectives.
Influencer Marketing

Manage influencer collaborations for both always-on content and launch campaigns.

Ensure influencer outputs are on-brand, legally compliant, and deliver measurable ROI.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

Track platform metrics (impressions, reach, engagement, video views) against KPIs.

Lead monthly and quarterly reporting to measure content performance and impact.

Provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve content strategies.
Trend Mapping & Industry Insight

Stay ahead of platform updates, viral formats, and audience behavior shifts.

Bring competitive intelligence and global benchmarks into Nykaa's strategy.

Share learnings across teams to foster innovation and agility.
Knowledge, Skill & Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field.

4-8 years of experience in Social Media, content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role within the beauty or fashion industry.

Proven experience in managing video content production and strategy.

Experience leading a small team and working cross functionally with other departments

Ability to strategize with the changing/trending nature of the digital space

An established networker in the social media space who is able to engage and influence creative individuals.

Ability to understand audience needs and behaviours across platforms /devices / content and translate this into strategic thinking.
