Editorial Manager
Job summary
CoreHR Consulting is recruiting an Editorial Manager on behalf of a client — a growing digital platform focused on the African creative economy. The successful candidate will lead editorial research, cover trends across creative industries, and produce compelling content that informs and inspires a community of African creatives and entrepreneurs.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Research and report on news and trends in the African creative economy
- Cover industry events, conferences, and creative showcases
- Conduct in-depth research and produce high-quality, accurate stories
- Support editorial planning and content calendar management
- Maintain editorial standards and meet publication timelines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in journalism, media, or content creation
- Strong writing, research, and storytelling skills
- Genuine passion for creative industries — fashion, music, art, film, photography
- Knowledge of the African creative economy and key players
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
