Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid with Travel)
Compensation: $70,000–$75,000 base salary + $10,000 variable comp
Travel: Up to 40–60% (domestic)
The D1 Training Education Team Member is responsible for delivering world-class training and education to franchisees and their teams across the D1 network. This includes leading in-person and virtual sessions for new franchisee onboarding, pre-sales operations, regional training events, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate New Franchisee Training:
- Lead multi-day onboarding sessions at D1 HQ in Nashville, ensuring new owners, GMs, and coaches leave prepared to execute D1’s playbook and uphold brand standards.
- Conduct On-Site Facility Trainings:
- Travel to new D1 facility openings nationwide to train local teams on pre-sales execution, operations, and coaching standards.
- Lead Regional and Virtual Trainings:
- Support franchisees with targeted in-person and online sessions focused on marketing, sales, coaching, and leadership development.
- Develop and Deliver Curriculum:
- Collaborate with the Education team to update and enhance training content, modules, and SOPs that drive consistency and profitability across the network.
- Assess Training Effectiveness:
- Evaluate participant performance and engagement, provide post-training feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador:
- Represent the D1 culture with energy, professionalism, and authenticity — inspiring franchisees, coaches, and staff to embody D1’s “Train to Be Your Best” mindset.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of corporate training or learning & development experience in the fitness or franchising industry .
- Proven success facilitating in-person and virtual trainings for adult learners.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to command a room and create dynamic engagement.
- Deep understanding of fitness operations, sales, and team leadership .
- Creative thinker who can adapt to different audiences and learning styles.
- Passionate about youth athletic development, adult fitness, and helping others succeed .
- Growth mindset — curious, coachable, and collaborative.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Education, Business, or related field preferred.
