Educational Director/NYS Certified Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educational Director for a Daycare Center to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student engagement. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. University experience is preferred, as it enhances the educator's ability to connect with students and provide relevant insights.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
• Stay current with educational trends and best practices to continuously improve teaching strategies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or NYS Master's degree in Early Childhood Education ( Birth -2 grade) or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning and assessment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
