Job Description: Edutainer

Position Title: Edutainer Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and highly professional Edutainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the face of our park, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the safety, security, and operational efficiency of our facility. You will balance the "educational" aspect of our mission with the "entertainment" needs of our visitors, acting as a guide, facilitator, and problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Safety

  • Access Management: Strictly enforce airport-style entry/exit policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all guests.
  • Flow Control: Manage visitor traffic to ensure smooth, efficient, and orderly entry and exit processes.
  • Queue Management: Maintain strict queue discipline during peak hours, ensuring a fair and organized experience for all guests.
  • Security Accountability: Oversee the mandatory use of security bracelets and ensure all exit protocols are followed without exception.
  • Operational Integrity: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all park equipment and facilities.
  • Closing Duties: Conduct end-of-day procedures, including the secure storage of equipment and the proper locking/securing of all designated areas.

Visitor Experience & Sales

  • Ticket Sales: Manage point-of-sale systems, process transactions, and provide accurate information regarding park activities and membership options.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, complaints, and suggestions, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Guidance & Support: Assist guests with park amenities, including the use of lockers and the secure storage of personal belongings.
  • Engagement: Actively participate in park events and special programming to enhance the visitor experience.

Logistical Coordination

  • Group Management: Coordinate large-scale school visits, including managing bus logistics, safe boarding/drop-off sequences, and group supervision.
  • Daily Inventory: Oversee operational materials (bracelets, magnets, collateral) and report stock levels to ensure daily readiness.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or an educational/entertainment environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to manage crowds and address guest concerns calmly.
  • Situational Awareness: Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety protocols and security compliance.
  • Reliability: Proven track record of reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic digital tracking tools.
  • Attitude: A high-energy, friendly, and "guest-first" mentality.
