Hiring: Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering activities for oil & gas projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. The engineer will function as the Lead Electrical Engineer on smaller projects, ensuring all discipline-related technical and scheduling matters are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in proposal preparation and project documentation.
• Prepare/review project specifications, requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
• Perform engineering calculations and system analysis as required.
• Develop and review one-line diagrams, area classification, and electrical layouts.
• Review plot plans and provide inputs for discipline requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with client representatives on electrical activities.
• Review and approve vendor documents.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing and site assignments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 15+ years’ proven experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Prior Qatar Energy project experience (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Qatar Engineering License (MME/MMUP/UPDA) required.
• Proficiency in oil & gas industry codes and standards.
• Knowledge of SKM software is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
