Position Title: EFA Program Assistant II
Reports To: Director of EFA Program
Position Purposes: The EFA Program Assistant will provide support to the Director of the EFA Program through direct communication with RWPB providers and case managers, assisting with ongoing case manager training, and supporting the entire lifecycle of the EFA application process.
Essential Functions:
· Provide support to case managers at RWPB provider organizations for the EFA application process
· Assist in hosting mandatory in-person training meeting in Mississippi for all RWPB EFA providers
· Provide technical assistance for EFA application portal
· Support the full life cycle of the EFA application process from start to finish, ensuring that applications are complete, valid, and include all necessary documentation
· Address any deficiencies in EFA applications and consult with relevant case managers
· Provide education and support on the EFA policies and procedures
· Coordinate with IT to ensure all relevant backend website needs are addressed in a timely manner
· Assist with data collection, reporting, and required site visits to maintain compliance with MSDH and HRSA
· Remain up to date on MSDH, HRSA, and RWPB program policies and procedures
· Commit 8-16 hours of time weekly to travel and on-site training to staff and providers, ensuring consistent support and effective implementation of processes.
· Ensure accurate collection of data and secure storage of applications, including all required documentation in compliance with RWPB policies for auditing purposes
· Coordinate with Finance to ensure all approved applications are accounted for payment processing
· Process payments by calling vendors to confirm, verify and resolve balances
· Travel may be required to vendor locations for the purpose of processing payments, purchasing vouchers, delivering payments, and mailing payment-related documents.
· Other duties as assigned
Education/Professional:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; bachelor’s degree or Higher Preferred (particularly in fields such as Social Work, Psychology, Business Administration, etc.)
Physical Requirements: This position requires an individual who is self-motivated and able to independently complete assigned responsibilities. The individual must also be able to accept proper supervision and work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders.
Frequent sitting, some standing / walking, and occasionally lifting supplies / equipment up to 50 lbs. Occasional reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching. This position requires an individual who is mentally alert and able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Individual must be able to effectively utilize Microsoft Office programming and, after necessary training, electronic health records system and Telemedicine equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
