EFDA Dental Assistant

This is a full time position, with the office open Monday-Thursday.

Compensation for this position includes:

Responsibilities:

  • Actively assist our dentist chair-side with room preparation, procedures, and documentation
  • Take quality radiographs/x-rays as determined by our dentists
  • Educate our patients regarding their treatment plans and how to maintain their oral health
  • Ensure we maintain compliance with regulatory and safety expectations
  • Assist, as needed, other clinical team members
  • Monitor our dental supplies levels and order using the approved formulary
  • Complete quality, appropriate lab work

Qualifications:

  • EFDA certification required
  • Current radiography certification required
  • Dental Assistant certification required
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred
  • Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred
  • Remain current on OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control Training
  • Current Immunizations (Hep B, TB)
  • CPR Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
