Midwest Family Dental Care – Kokomo is seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing practice. Location: 2714 Rockford Ln, Kokomo, IN 46902

Schedule: Monday–Thursday (consistent daytime hours)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $30-$35 based on experience

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during clinical procedures

Place and finish restorations within EFDA scope

Take and process dental X-rays

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms

Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Accurately chart procedures and patient notes

Provide excellent patient care and education

Qualifications

EFDA certification (required)

Active Indiana radiology certification

Dental assisting experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and professionalism

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
