Overview
Linehaul team in Egypt is currently handling all line haul movements between all fulfillment centers, sorting centers, Amazon fulfillment managers, VF sites, FM pickups fleet & people transportation. The team is the main point of connection between internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with external customers (carriers, vendors/suppliers) and internal customers across last mile, sorting centers, fulfillment centers, seller and vendor flex, speed, finance, procurement, NOC, etc.
- Pull data from internal databases using Excel, SQL, or other management systems and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Develop and understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
- Scope business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams that create and enhance the software systems used by the line haul team.
- Quickly understand business impacts of trends and make decisions based on available data.
- Escalate problems or variations systematically to relevant owners, follow through on resolutions, and ensure delivery.
- Work within tight time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; prepare narratives of weekly findings and present them in review forums.
- Provide real time customer experience support in a 24/7 operating environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
