Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Director to lead our growth initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to acquire new clients and expand our existing client base. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of VML.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through a combination of inbound and outbound marketing efforts. Leverage VML's strong reputation and network to open doors.
Manage and utilize CRM systems for lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.
Lead the agency's new business pitch process, crafting compelling presentations and proposals that showcase VML's unique capabilities and win clients over.
Oversee client relationships, fostering strong partnerships and maximizing client satisfaction by understanding their evolving needs and exceeding expectations.
Analyze marketing data and utilize insights to optimize acquisition efforts, ensuring VML stays ahead of the curve.
Manage and motivate a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment (if applicable).
Stay abreast of industry trends and identify new marketing and sales methodologies, ensuring VML remains at the forefront of the industry.

What you'll need:

Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development or a related field within the marketing and advertising industry.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth in a competitive agency environment.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, best practices, and the evolving digital landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.

Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Analytical mind with a data-driven approach to decision making and a passion for leveraging data to inform strategies.
Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing analytics tools.
Experience leading and motivating a team (if applicable).
