Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with the company's business objectives in Egypt.
Lead and optimize supply chain processes across material handling, planning, customs, inventory management, and other key functions.
Serve as the key point of contact between global/regional supply chain leadership and local operational teams.
Material Handling & Engineering:
Oversee design, implementation, and continuous improvement of material handling systems to enhance production and warehouse efficiency.
Drive automation, layout optimization, and safety standards in material flow operations.
Supply Planning & Material Management:
Lead the supply planning process to ensure optimal inventory levels, on-time availability of materials, and alignment with production and sales forecasts.
Manage material call-off and follow-up with suppliers to prevent shortages and delays.
Collaborate closely with procurement and production to ensure supply continuity and responsiveness to demand fluctuations.
Customs & Trade Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with Egyptian import/export regulations and international trade standards.
Manage relationships with customs authorities, brokers, and government bodies to streamline clearance processes and minimize delays.
Operational Excellence & KPI Management:
Define and monitor key supply chain KPIs (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, lead times), and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvement projects across all supply chain functions.
Drive the use of digital tools and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
Team Leadership & Development:
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure talent development and succession planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate degree is a strong advantage.
15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a multinational or industrial environment.
Strong background in material handling systems, supply and material planning, and customs operations.
Solid understanding of ERP systems (preferably Oracle), planning tools, and supply chain analytics.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale operational improvements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
