EHS Manager

Responsible for establishing a safe workplace according to UAE legal standards and fostering a culture of health and safety across projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of EHS policies and programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.
  • Maintain reports on violations, accidents, and team compliance.
  • Track third-party employee certifications and high-risk PPE records.
  • Arrange and record inductions and EHS training for new employees.
  • Advise and instruct personnel on safety topics (e.g., electrical risk, work at height, RF hazards).
  • Review and update EHS policies to meet legislation and standards.
  • Inspect premises and personnel compliance per ISO/OHSAS 18001:2015 standards.
  • Record, investigate, and report incidents; assist with worker’s compensation claims.
  • Stop unsafe acts or processes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide statistical reports on EHS performance to management.

Targets / KPIs:

  • Conduct risk assessments with 100% accuracy.
  • Deliver timely employee and executive training.
  • Ensure 0% non-compliance during inspections.
  • Submit reports on violations and incidents accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years UAE EHS experience in civil construction projects.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification (mandatory).
  • Strong reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
  • Only UAE-based candidates will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • UAE EHS civil construction: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification (Required)
