E&I Inspector

Candidzone is a leading recruitment and HR solutions provider in Qatar, connecting top talent with reputable organizations across various industries. We are currently seeking experienced E&I Inspectors for a leading Oil & Gas project in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) inspection, with a strong background in Oil & Gas projects, hazardous area compliance, and brownfield plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements
• Perform inspections in hazardous areas in accordance with COMPEX/IECEx standards
• Review inspection reports, test records, and technical documentation
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC procedures
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues
• Verify the quality of instrumentation, electrical equipment, and installation works
• Support project completion through timely inspections and reporting

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in Electrical & Instrumentation inspection
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Strong expertise in the Instrumentation discipline
• Experience in brownfield plant projects is highly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of industry codes, standards, and inspection procedures
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
