Eikon Research is currently seeking a RF Technician for a long-term career opportunity with our team onsite in Huntsville, AL. The RF Technician role is diverse, and responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Developing RF test plans. Test plans will describe the objectives, resources required, software / firmware / instrumentation required, and any preliminary RF circuit analysis and design for test set ups
  • Operating RF test equipment. The candidate will perform tests, including operating instruments, collecting data, and preparing reports as necessary.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation, both in-code and in tools like Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, for product documentation.
  • Participating in Agile development practices, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, and reviews.
Requirements:

Minimum Candidate Requirements

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

Candidate must have a DoD Secret level clearance or eligibility to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance.

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in in any of the following: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Phase array antenna engineering, Radar signal processing and techniques, Systems engineering, Test and evaluation, Antenna Engineering

Candidate must have 3+ years' of experience with the following:

  • RF lab or similar experience with the following is required:
  • RF test equipment not limited to: vector network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
  • RF circuit design and analysis
  • Radar systems, signal processing, or electrical engineering
  • Ability to work in-office when performing hardware integration and testing is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in both group and individual capacities.
