GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for presenting products to prospects and ensuring thorough follow-up until closing the sales cycle to meet company goals. Prepare accurate sales reports to document the sales process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Identify potential clients and market segments for expanding the company's business opportunities.
- Prepare, guide, and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospects, showcasing the company’s products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with producers, insurance agencies, and direct clients.
- Participate in managing sales initiatives and training to drive product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to generate new business and referrals.
- Receive, verify, and analyze sales documents related to commercial groups, ensuring accuracy and compliance with underwriting requirements for documents received from Brokers, Agents, and Direct Clients.
- Ensure that all cases are submitted with the necessary documents and accurate information required by the Underwriting Department, facilitating smooth processing and approvals.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, documenting efforts through reports and tracking the progress of leads and sales status.
- Ensures targets for calls, visits, quotations, and sales to drive business growth and revenue.
- Represents the company in industry activities and professional organizations, conventions, conferences, or any other activity where their assistance is required.
- Must comply fully and consistently with all company policies and procedures, with local and federal laws as well as with the regulations applicable to our Industry, to maintain appropriate business and employment practices.
- May carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the requirements of education and experience contained in this document.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related areas. At least three (3) years of experience in sales, account management, or related areas, preferably in the Healthcare Insurance Industry.

Certifications / Licenses: A Driver's License valid in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico is required. A valid Life and Disability Insurance Agent License and Health Services License is required. (Unlicensed candidates or those with a provisional license are accepted. If not licensed, candidates must commit to becoming certified by passing the examination provided by the Commissioner of Insurance on their first or second attempt.)
Other: Car in good condition and available to travel to different locations in Puerto Rico. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is preferred.
