Job Title: Electrician – Events & Exhibitions

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Use various tools and equipment, including power tools, measuring devices, and testing instruments.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures as needed.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems.
• Place conduit inside walls, partitions, or concealed areas, and pull insulated wires through to complete circuits.
• Construct and fabricate parts according to specifications using hand tools.
• Fasten electrical boxes to walls for switches or outlets.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches for conduit installation and lifting heavy objects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician in the United Arab Emirates.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Previous experience in the events and exhibitions industry is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
