Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Role- Production Engineer (E&I)

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and security responsibilities per LGMS and project HSES requirements; actively participate in TBTs, safety walkthroughs, SOAP cards, and Take 5 audits.
  • Coordinate daily E&I production with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Commissioning to achieve plan; resolve site technical issues and expedite constraints.
  • Implement Work Pack Management Procedure for E&I scopes; verify AFC drawings, distribute work packs, and monitor fabrication start/finish and close-out per schedule.
  • Track progress against L3 schedules; maintain look-ahead plans; highlight slippages and propose recovery actions to Construction/Yard Managers.
  • Manage materials control for E&I (MTO/MR issuance, receipt, preservation, distribution); follow up vendor/subcontractor deliverables and documentation.
  • Ensure ITRs and QC inspections for E&I are completed and accepted; support punch listing, pre-commissioning, and handover to commissioning.
  • Provide inputs to Construction Method Statements and Task Risk Assessments; contribute to constructability and work sequencing for E&I.
  • Maintain key interfaces with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering, QA/QC, HSES, PSC, PMT; escalate risks impacting schedule/productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering; 5+ years in offshore/onshore oil and gas E&I construction.

Proficient with E&I drawings, MTO/MR, ITRs, QA/QC workflows, and EPC interfaces; knowledge of IEC/ISA/API/IEEE and client standards.

Strong coordination, progress tracking, and systems use (MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and typical E&I tools advantageous).
