Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

India

The Job:

The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer will be a core team member ensuring that electrical

systems and instrumentation in our engineered packages meet stringent industry standards and

customer expectations.

They will work closely with proposals, projects, and operations teams, providing end-to-end support

from engineering design to FAT, inspection, and commissioning. This role is both technical and

execution-focused, requiring someone who can manage details without losing sight of project

timelines and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engineering Deliverables: Prepare and review electrical load lists, SLDs, wiring diagrams,

hook-up drawings, cable schedules, and instrument datasheets.

2. Project Execution: Provide technical support during procurement, FAT, and

commissioning; ensure compliance with client specs and codes.

3. Coordination: Interface with vendors, OEMs, clients, and inspection agencies for timely

closure of technical issues.

4. Compliance: Ensure designs and execution comply with IEC, IS, and PESO/

ATEX/Flameproof standards where applicable.

5. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date drawings, inspection reports, and as-built documents.

6. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues at shop or site and

provide practical solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in EPC/project execution or process equipment manufacturing

environment.

  • Exposure to Oil & Gas/Chemical/Process applications preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/EPLAN; knowledge of PLC/DCS integration is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹43,350.85 - ₹64,773.92 per month
