Electrical Apprentice

Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit installation, and other electrical tasks. Support the setup and testing of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and ensure proper functionality. Participate in construction activities including framing carpentry related to electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or certifications in electrical trades are a plus. Basic understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction site procedures is preferred. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical work, including safety standards outlined by NEC. Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics and construction drawings confidently. Strong attention to detail, safety-minded approach, and willingness to learn on the job. Prior experience in industrial or commercial electrician environments is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
