Electrical / Automation Control Electronics Technician

Qualifications: Diploma/Higher Institute of Industrial Engineering

 Previous Experience:

o Experience (3) years in radiation and security systems.

o Experience (2-3) years in electrical projects, automation control, and

electromechanical systems.

o Field experience in troubleshooting and repairing different types of

equipment.

o Experience (preferential) in working with communication systems and

cameras.

o Experience in related application software for the project.

o Experience in installing and adjusting software according to operational

needs.

o Good knowledge of networking technologies.

 Skills:

o Ability to act in emergencies.

o Understanding how to read blueprints.

o High physical fitness.

o Familiarity with industrial standard specifications.

o Ability to work in a team to perform tasks and duties.

o Multitasking - ability to prioritize and deal with several technical problems

at once.

o Initiative.

o Ability to work in industrial and operational environments in public places.

o Working overtime to solve technical problems.

o Observation accuracy, fault detection, and repair on different types of

equipment.

 Job Tasks:

o Monitoring the operational status and technical condition of systems.

o Performing daily routine inspections of systems and their units to keep

them running smoothly.

o Performing qualitative checks on parts of the systems.

o Finding technical solutions and alternatives for problems related to the

systems.

o Performing periodic maintenance work according to manufacturers'

requirements.

o Responding to emergency reports.

o Inspecting systems, tracking operating procedures, and identifying faults.

o Removing old damaged equipment and parts and installing new ones.

o Performing repairs and changing parts, units, and consumables.

o Testing operational systems and handing over/receiving systems.

o Preparing organized reports for maintenance and repair works, such as

periodic maintenance completion reports and fault repair reports, and

having them approved by the responsible authority.

o Monitoring and recording operational and maintenance data and records.

o Preparing qualitative technical reports upon request.

o Attending training to maintain efficiency.

o Monitoring and ensuring the availability of resources, consumables, and

spare parts.
