Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Ability to understand process and flow diagrams water/ waste water treatment plants.
Ability to perform and document the electromechanical and automatic control system tests, other related inspections and commissioning activities (Minimum but not limited to: Megger Test, IO Loop Test, Cable Schedule, Dry Run & Wet Run Test Reports).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise projects in accordance with deadline requirements.
To access man power requirements based on the site condition to complete the works within the timeline.
Ensure process / performance of the machine is achieved as per the design.
Prepare and maintain the commissioning programme & Timeline and execute activities in accordance with the programme.
Good Coordination with clients/ internal departments, for follow up.
Advice the Service team for maintenance and supporting for new sales and O&M contracts.
Prepare/review risk assessments and method statements as required.
Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
Maintain the snagging list and progress the completion of all snags assigned.
Review P&ID drawings and perform HAZOP study to validate the same for design and build projects.
Prepare process description and control philosophy for design and build projects.
Provides trainings to the operator.
Produce project deliverables including Equipment Lists, Instrument Lists, Line Lists, Valve Lists and I/O Schedules to specify technical requirements.
Produce Plant Operating Procedures and O&M manuals and documentation.
Prepare and follow up documentation etc, as per company ISO Standards.

Skills:

Strong electro-mechanical technical knowledge.
Planning, executing and documenting of commissioning and handover activities.
Identify and utilize resources and display strong ownership skills.
Strong Communication.
Accomplish multiple goals and perform delivering expected results.
Quickly assess new situations, prioritizes critical tasks.
Very good oral and written English skills absolutely required, additional languages skills are an advantage, especially in Arabic and German.
Having a working experience in UAE and other GCC/ North African region.
UAE Driving license is mandatory.
