Electrical Control Transformer – Coil Winder Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and machine coil winding for electrical control transformers.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, work orders, and wiring diagrams.
• Select wires, insulation materials, and winding methods as per design.
• Ensure correct turns, layering, and tap connections during winding.
• Perform coil impregnation, drying, and assembly operations.
• Maintain winding equipment, tools, and ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Follow company safety and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in transformer or motor coil winding.
• Knowledge of transformer construction, materials, and testing methods.
• Experience with control transformers (0.5 kVA – 25 kVA range).
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good attention to detail, manual dexterity, and quality awareness.
• Familiarity with VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) process is a plus.
