Electrical Design Engineer

The role requires a qualified B.E./B.Tech Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in electrical design for industrial facilities, preferably in Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, and other industrial projects.

The engineer will be responsible for:

• Performing and reviewing electrical design calculations (load calculations, transformer/DG sizing, cable sizing, illumination design, earthing & lightning protection, UPS/battery sizing, fault level calculations) in compliance with international codes and standards.

• Preparing and checking SLDs for LV/MV systems, layout drawings (cabling, power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection), Bill of Materials, cable and interconnection schedules.

• Preparing technical specifications, datasheets, technical bid evaluations, purchase recommendations, and vendor drawing reviews.

• Leading medium-scale projects as Project Lead - Electrical, coordinating with other disciplines, clients, and project management teams, and driving standardization and value engineering initiatives.

• Training and mentoring junior engineers, supporting proposal work and BD estimations, and strictly adhering to quality and safety guidelines.

Key preferences & skills

• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers Professional Engineer (PE) Certification

• Familiarity with ARAMCO design standards

• Knowledge of 3D model review tools (Navisworks), Dialux, AutoCAD, and electrical system studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient studies)

• Strong communication, team leadership, and time-management skills
