Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support electrical detailed engineering activities for the IIWWTW Project in Qatar. The role involves design development, review, and coordination of electrical systems, particularly for water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical detailed engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents.
• Develop electrical layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and cable schedules.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar local standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.
• Support design coordination with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Provide technical support during construction and resolve site-related electrical design issues.
• Assist in reviewing vendor drawings, material submittals, and technical clarifications.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Electrical Detail Engineering
• Preferred Experience:
• Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) / Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects
• Experience in Ashghal projects is a strong advantage

Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and practices
• Ability to work under tight project schedules
• Good communication and coordination skills
