Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team in the Electrical Industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD and EPLAN, with a strong background in designing electrical panels, systems, and layouts. The role involves developing accurate design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting project execution.

Location: New Town, Kolkata

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop electrical design drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
• Understand project requirements, technical specifications, and client needs to deliver accurate designs.
• Design and draft electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and control schematics.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with project, estimation, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Revise and update designs based on feedback from clients, engineers, and supervisors.
• Maintain documentation of designs, revisions and approvals.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and installation stages.
• Ensure timely completion of design deliverables for multiple projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE) or equivalent.
• 3-4 Years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the Electrical Panel Manufacturing/ Automation sector.
• CAD experience

Technical skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and EPLAN.
• Knowledge of electrical components, wiring practices, and panel design standards.
• Understanding of relevant IS/IEC standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,949.55 - ₹37,041.94 per month
