Electrical Design Engineer
The Electrical Design Engineer will support the development of advanced electrical systems and components for high‑performance vehicle programs. This is a hands‑on, collaborative role involving design work, prototyping, assembly trials, supplier coordination, and cross‑functional teamwork. Responsibilities include designing electrical components and subsystems, creating 3D/2D models, and developing wire harnesses and high‑voltage components.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical components, subsystems, wire harnesses, and high‑voltage systems

Perform 3D/2D modeling and engineering calculations to meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets

Support prototype builds, assembly trials, and manufacturing activities

Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams throughout the development cycle

Maintain BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation; support DFM reviews

Troubleshoot design and build issues, provide timely updates, and meet project deadlines

Participate in cross‑functional meetings and contribute to technical problem‑solving
Requirements

3–5+ years of electrical design engineering experience (automotive, motorsports, or aerospace preferred)

Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 or 3D Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Hands‑on experience with high‑voltage systems, wire harness design, and core engineering fundamentals

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, create BOMs, and perform tolerance stack‑ups

Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Willingness to travel for vendor visits, testing, or track support
