Electrical Design Engineer

MAICO Gulf a part of Hira Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Electrical Design & BOQ Engineer to support product design, project execution, and estimation activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical wiring, schematic drawings, motor selection, control panel wiring diagrams, and preparation of BOQs and BOMs. Familiarity with basic SAP and PDM systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare wiring diagrams for AC & EC motors and control panel wiring diagrams for pressure, temperature and vibration sensors.

· Create reports to design team to drive next generation of prototype and test

· Interpreting technical data sheets/ product selection and updating BOM in SAP

· Coordinate with production and identify opportunities for process improvement.

· Responsible for ensuring daily SAP works and timely closure of BOMS

· Transparent reporting of daily tasks and project status on day-to-day basis.

· Responsible for SAP BOQs for production order & new product from PDP team.

· Coordinate with R&D team and update new development BOMs in SAP along with logic.

· Liaise with supplier to make the logical call based on technical feasibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in electrical design and BOQ preparation, preferably in HVAC or ventilation industry.
• Strong understanding of motor controls and sensor integration.
• Experience in preparing detailed electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Knowledge of PDM/document control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
