Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in the MEP consultancy field. The candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and documentation of electrical systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Documentation:

• Prepare detailed design drawings, load calculations, and layouts for LV and MV electrical systems.
• Design lighting, power distribution, earthing, lightning protection, and other building electrical systems.
• Prepare SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), riser diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts.
• Conduct load calculations using appropriate software and ensure compliance with applicable codes (IS, NBC, IEC, NEC, DEWA, etc.).

Coordination & Review:

• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and firefighting teams for integrated design solutions.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents from vendors/contractors.
• Interact with clients, architects, and consultants to understand project requirements and present design proposals.
• Participate in design review meetings and ensure timely delivery of design documents.

Site Support:

• Provide technical support to the execution team during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct site visits for inspection and verification of installations as per approved drawings and standards.
• Generate reports, snag lists, and participate in FAT/SAT as necessary.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of lighting calculation software (e.g., Dialux, Relux) and ETAP (preferred).
• Familiarity with codes and standards such as IS, IEC, IEEE, NBC, NEC, DEWA, and other local regulations.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, energy efficiency, and green building practices.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in MEP consultancy or building services design.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
