Electrical Design Engineer - Senior

Responsibilities:

• Design all electrical systems ensuring compliance with standards, local regulations, and authority requirements such as DEWA , ADDC, and other authorities regulation. (coordination & submission)
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for all the electrical systems.
• Prepare comprehensive electrical design documents.
• Handle several electrical design tasks for multiple projects.
• Conduct detailed electrical calculations, including load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing, utilizing appropriate software tools and engineering principles.
• Lead/Collaborate closely with other design engineering team to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into project designs.
• Provide technical guidance to external stakeholders throughout the design and coordination process.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client and authority meetings effectively, ensuring clear communication, compliance with regulations, and alignment with project objectives.
• Proven capability to lead and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines while managing resources effectively.
• Deals with less routine technical or operational problems with limited supervision and may solve moderately difficult problems that are not immediately evident and require some guidance from a more senior team member. Draws on technical knowledge and experience and information / specification received to develop the most effective and efficient solution for less standard or routine problems with a prescribed outcome.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 7-10+ years of contracting Electrical design in Dubai.
• Familiarity with electrical load calculations, power distribution, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing.
• Proficient in using electrical engineering software tools for analysis and design.
