We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for our Transformer Business Unit in Temelli.

In this role, you will be responsible for all necessary engineering activities such us preparing electrical design for orders and quotations, BOMs, cost calculations, optimization and preparing technical documents.
This role is based on site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review and assess sales orders for technical feasibility, cost, delivery timelines, and level of standardization, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales Organizations or directly with customers to discuss challenges, address deviations, and identify solutions within the defined authorization framework.
  • Analyze detailed order data and specifications to prepare transformer designs, while verifying and validating electrical and mechanical design outputs.
  • Translate order information into accurate technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), technical datasheets, cost calculations, and other required engineering documents.
  • Offer technical support to production teams, helping ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Take the lead on design improvements and production development initiatives.
  • Manage design or scope changes using available tools (design programs, Bid Manager, optimization software) and collaborate with the Sales Country Organization to ensure commercially and technically sound decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical training sessions for teammates and supporting departments, contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Engage in and help guide internal quality problem‑solving processes to drive continuous improvement.
    Provide technical input when evaluating alternative suppliers and lead related projects when needed.
    Monitor production and test results, preparing reports that compare outcomes against design values.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical field
  • 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally in transformer design
  • Technical expertise in transformer electrical design
  • Understanding of transformer production processes and materials
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience working with ERP systems
  • Good knowledge of IEC 60076 and other relevant international standards
  • Strong project‑management abilities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating within a team
  • Fluent in English
