We are seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman with 4–5 years of experience and strong proficiency in BIMPRO and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing Electrical and ELV layout plans, schematic diagrams, and as-built drawings, while coordinating with project teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of shop drawings in accordance with engineering standards. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Prepare Electrical layout plans based on architectural and structural and other ifc/shop drawings.

2.Prepare detail electrical shop drawings for Small power, Lighting, Earthing, ELV Systems such as (CCTV, Access Control, BMS, Fire Alarm, Lighting Control,Emergency Lighting, Structured Cabling), Containment systems using SLD and Load schedule, Electrical and ELV Rooms Layout.

⁠3.Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Schematic Diagrams for Power and ELV and Distribution Board (DB) schedules.

4.Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and approved redlines.

5.Prepare as-built drawings in accordance with approved site modifications.

6.Design and prepare containment layouts with proper routing and level coordination.

7.Perform cable tray sizing and voltage drop calculations.

8.Select appropriate cables and equipment based on design load requirements.

⁠9.Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority requirements (e.g. ADDC, DEWA), and international standards.

10.Coordinate with engineers and other discipline teams (mechanical, architectural, structural) for drawing updates and clash resolutions.

11.Review consultant drawings and specifications, raise RFIs when discrepancies are identified.

12.Maintain QA/QC standards for all issued drawings and documentation.

13.Ensure timely submission of shop drawings as per project schedule.

14.Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) based on coordinated drawings.

15.Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is an added advantage.

16.Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality drawings to tight deadlines.

17.Strong Communication and coordination skills.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering .
