Electrical Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled MEP Draftsman with Electrical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Electrical systems design and will be responsible for drafting detailed drawings for electrical systems (MEP). The role requires proficiency in CAD software and a solid understanding of electrical systems codes and standards. The draftsman will work closely with engineers to produce high-quality, accurate drawings for various MEP construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create detailed technical drawings for electrical systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.

*Collaboration: Work closely with MEP engineers to understand project requirements and produce drawings that integrate electrical systems seamlessly with mechanical and plumbing systems.

*Preparation of Schematics: Develop and modify schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, layout plans, and details for electrical systems.

*Coordination: Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, civil) to ensure the MEP systems are properly integrated into the overall building design.

·*Revisions and Updates: Modify and update designs based on engineer feedback, project changes, or field conditions.

*Code Compliance: Ensure that all drafts adhere to local building codes, industry standards.

*Technical Support: Provide drafting support to engineers, project managers, and other team members by producing high-quality drawings and documentation.

*Quality Assurance: Review and verify the accuracy of drawings, ensuring they are complete, clear, and free of errors before submission.

*Documentation: Maintain up-to-date and organized records of all drawings, revisions, and associated documentation.

Eligibility/Qualifications:

Bachelor degree/Diploma in drafting /Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3-5 years demonstrable UAE experience as a MEP Electrical Draftsman.

Proficiency with design software (AUTOCAD)

Excellent understanding of construction industry infrastructure MEP design.

Thorough knowledge of electrical system design regulations codes and standards (DEWA,SEWA,FEWA Etc.)

Strong communication skills and collaborative abilities.
