- Prepare detailed MEP drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand design requirements and specifications for MEP systems.
- Develop and modify drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems based on initial sketches, project requirements, and site conditions.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Preparation of construction documentation, including detailed drawings, equipment schedules, and material lists.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, etc.) to ensure that MEP systems are integrated properly into the overall design.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and verify existing conditions as needed for drafting purposes.
- Ensure that all drafts and drawings are updated and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the engineering team with MEP-related technical queries and drafting tasks.
- Perform quality control on all drafts to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
