Electrical Draftsman

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for Electrical Draftsman in Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical layout drawings for lighting, power distribution, and equipment connections.
• Develop wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for various electrical systems.
• Design and document Distribution Board (DB) panel schedules, including load lists, circuit details, and breaker selections.
• Create and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for LV electrical systems.
• Draft power socket layouts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure drawing accuracy and project alignment.
• Review and revise electrical drawings based on engineering feedback and site requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Maintain project documentation and manage drawing updates through revision control.
• Provide technical support during project execution as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design/drafting (as listed: layouts, wiring diagrams, DB panels, SLDs).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and load distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in coordination with a team.
