Electrical Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman in building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings, plans, and documentation in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Review and update existing electrical drawings and documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (Saudi Arabian standards preferred).
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, layouts, and shop drawings for electrical systems.
• Support site teams with clarifications on drawings and electrical installations.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in building construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, wiring layouts, lighting, power distribution, and earthing.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s electrical standards and codes is an advantage.
