About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with superiors and engineers to understand project requirements, design precise electrical schematics, and support the construction and installation of electrical systems. Proficiency in 2D drafting for electrical layouts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with superiors and engineers to gather project specifications
• Prepare technical documents, installation guides, and user manuals
• Draft 2D electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including electrical plans and reports
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs based on electrical specifications and designs

Requirements:

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical Drafting, Design, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical drafting
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and safety standards
• Familiarity with electrical codes, building regulations, and health standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
