Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical who will be responsible for the electrical maintenance and commissioning of CNC/VMC machines and other plant equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and electrical system upgrades to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC/VMC and other production machines.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting and repair of control panels, drives, PLCs, and motors.
• Carry out electrical commissioning and installation of new CNC/VMC machines.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards during all maintenance activities.
• Maintain and update electrical drawings, machine history cards, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with machine suppliers and vendors for technical issues and spares support.
• Implement energy-saving measures and assist in utility maintenance (transformers, panels, etc.).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the maintenance process.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machine electrical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical circuits, PLCs, drives, and automation systems.
• Good understanding of electrical commissioning, wiring, and control system design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of safety protocols and preventive maintenance techniques.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 7–10 years of experience in electrical maintenance and commissioning in a manufacturing setup (preferably CNC/VMC-based industry)
