Job Description

Burtville Development is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our Engineering Team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in high-rise building and construction projects, preferably within the UAE, with strong knowledge of local authority standards and electrical drafting requirements.

Preferred Profile

We are looking for an Electrical Draftsman with 7–10 years of experience in high-rise building and construction projects. Candidates with UAE experience and familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority requirements will be highly preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare lighting, power, and ELV drawings based on design calculations and engineer instructions
• Coordinate with architectural reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) for lighting fixture placement and service access
• Develop electrical riser diagrams, cable routing layouts, and load schedules
• Prepare submission-ready drawings in compliance with ADM and Estidama standards
• Ensure all electrical drafting works comply with Abu Dhabi regulations and project requirements
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines for drawing accuracy and project coordination
• Revise and update drawings as required during project stages

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in electrical drafting
• Experience in building services, residential projects, and high-rise construction
• Strong knowledge of electrical drafting standards and practices in Abu Dhabi
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software
• Familiarity with ADM and Estidama submission requirements
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
• UAE experience is preferred
