Electrical Draftsman / Site Engineer (Smart Home Systems)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draftsman / Site Engineer with experience in smart home or ELV systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing AutoCAD drawings, supporting presales documentation, visiting sites, and supervising installation works to ensure design accuracy and high-quality implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AutoCAD drawings: layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and as-built documentation
• Conduct site visits for measurement, coordination, and installation supervision
• Perform author’s supervision to ensure compliance with the approved design
• Prepare initial project specifications and BOQs for presales and design stages
• Revise drawings and documentation according to site changes and updates
• Support system integration, testing, and final commissioning
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Understanding of low-current and automation systems (lighting control, KNX, Zigbee, AV, CCTV, etc.)
• Experience in preparing technical drawings and basic project documentation
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in ELV or smart home projects (UAE experience preferred)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus
