Electrical Draughtsman

Hiring: Senior Electrical 2D Draftsman – Immediate Joining

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical 2D Draftsman to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electrical drafting for MEP projects and be capable of preparing accurate and detailed drawings in coordination with engineers and other disciplines.

Availability: Candidates must be currently available in the UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D electrical shop drawings based on design drawings and project specifications
• Prepare as-built drawings and update drawings as per site changes
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, local authority requirements, and client specifications
• Prepare lighting layouts, power layouts, containment layouts, single line diagrams, and schematics
• Modify and revise drawings as per engineer and consultant comments
• Assist in preparing coordination drawings for site execution
• Maintain drawing registers and proper documentation of revisions
• Support project teams with technical drafting requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in MEP projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
• Good understanding of electrical systems including lighting, power, cable trays, conduits, and distribution systems
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and coordination drawings
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple drawing revisions

Preferred:

• Experience working on UAE construction/MEP projects
• Immediate availability for joining
