Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Electronic Engineer to design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level power distribution and low-level circuit design, ensuring that products meet rigorous standards for safety, reliability, and efficiency.

You will work on the complete lifecycle of electronic products—from concept and schematic capture to PCB layout, prototyping, and final integration into systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development

• Design analog and digital circuits, including microcontrollers (ARM, AVR), power supplies, and sensor interfaces.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, OrCAD).
• Develop embedded firmware (C/C++) for microcontrollers and DSPs.
• Design power distribution systems (AC/DC, low/high voltage) and protection circuits.
• Simulate circuit behavior using SPICE or similar tools.

Testing & Validation

• Build and test prototypes using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
• Conduct EMC/EMI pre-compliance testing and troubleshoot interference issues.
• Perform failure analysis and root cause correction on electronic systems.
• Develop test plans, quality assurance procedures, and validation reports.

Documentation & Compliance

• Generate BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly drawings, and test procedures.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (IPC, IEC, UL, CE, FCC, RoHS).
• Maintain revision control for hardware and firmware (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Write user manuals, technical specifications, and engineering change orders (ECOs).

Collaboration

• Work cross-functionally with mechanical engineers (enclosures/thermal), software engineers (drivers/API), and manufacturing (DFM/DFT).
• Coordinate with vendors for component sourcing and PCB fabrication.
• Support production line with debugging and yield improvement.

QualificationsRequired

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field. (Master’s preferred for senior roles).
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical/electronic design (junior and senior levels available).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in at least one EDA suite (Altium preferred).
• Strong understanding of analog/digital fundamentals (op-amps, filters, ADCs, timers, communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
• Experience with lab test equipment.
• Familiarity with embedded C/C++.
• Knowledge of power electronics (buck/boost converters, LDOs, MOSFETs).
• Soft Skills: Analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented, excellent communication.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with high-speed digital design (DDR, PCIe, HDMI).
• RF design and antenna matching.
• Altium Designer advanced skills.
• RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) or Linux device drivers.
• ISO 13485 (medical), AS9100D (aerospace), or ISO 26262 (automotive) familiarity.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
