Electrical / ELV Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing and pre-commissioning of Electrical and ELV systems including Fire Alarm, BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, and Structured Cabling.
• Assist in preparing and executing method statements, testing procedures, and commissioning plans.
• Support the setup, configuration, and calibration of ELV systems and equipment.
• Work with project teams to verify installation and readiness of systems for testing and handover.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and specialist vendors during testing and inspections.
• Document all testing results and prepare commissioning reports and snag lists.
• Participate in integrated system testing (IST) and handover inspections.
• Learn, adapt and ensure compliance with local authority standards (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Airport Systems Experience is highly preferred

Technical Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with testing and commissioning of ELV systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, BMS, etc.).
• Basic understanding of Electrical systems (LV) and control systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with standards such as NFPA, BS, and local UAE regulations.
• Competency in using basic testing tools and instruments (multimeter, loop tester, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in testing and commissioning, preferably in Turkiye, UAE or GCC projects.
• Driving License: TR or UAE driving license
• Language: Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 procedures related to QA QC and commissioning.
• Degree Attestation: MOFA-attested educational degree
• Willingness to Travel: 100% worldwide - initially in UAE.
