Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and layout drawings using CAD or other design software.
• Specify and select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, panels, and wiring systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit studies, and protective device coordination.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, civil, automation) to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Supervise or coordinate the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems during design, construction, or operation phases.
• Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and documentation from vendors or contractors.
• Ensure all designs and installations adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred or required depending on region).
• [2–10+] years of relevant experience in electrical system design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficient in DEWA/TAQA/FEWA/SEWA/EWA.
• Strong knowledge of national and international electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
