Duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, electrical panels, and control equipment.

Conduct electrical fault analysis and provide appropriate solutions.

Supervise the installation of new electrical equipment and ensure its compliance with industry standards.

Keep up with the latest electrical technologies and provide recommendations for improvement.

Train technicians on handling electrical equipment.

Ensure understanding of annual maintenance plans and receive daily and emergency tasks during the shift.

Supervise and monitor the maintenance team during the shift to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.

Develop and implement procedures and maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and increase productivity.

Conduct periodic inspections and reviews to identify areas for improvement and address any equipment or facility issues.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory.

Maintain records of daily routine checklists/weekly motor checklists/weekly preventive maintenance schedules/quarterly preventive maintenance.

Develop and manage a maintenance budget to optimize resources and control costs.

Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality, and warehouses, to support operational and emergency maintenance needs.

Ensure compliance with regulations and safety procedures to create a safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, specializing in Controls or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with 5 years in feed mills.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.

PLC, SCADA, DCS, Lean Manufacturing, LSSBB, Kaizen, TPM systems are certified.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to give instructions and lead a team regarding electrical and mechanical problems.

Diagnose faults, find root causes, and implement continuous improvement.

A deep background in automation systems.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to make quick decisions.

Effective communication skills.

Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
