Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer

Location/Base: NCR (with travel Pan India)
Department: Projects / Electrical Engineering
Reports To: Project Manager / Site Head

Role Overview

The Electrical Site Engineer will oversee the on-site execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects across India. The role ensures that all work meets design specifications, safety codes, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Supervision
• Manage day-to-day electrical installation and commissioning at project sites.
• Ensure work aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordination & Communication
• Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth site operations.
• Provide daily progress reports and promptly escalate any issues to the Project Manager.
• Testing, Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Conduct testing and quality checks on electrical panels, cabling, and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and ensure preventive maintenance practices.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Enforce adherence to safety regulations, IS codes, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records, BOQs, material usage logs, and billing documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in electrical site execution (construction, MEP, or infrastructure).
• Knowledge of LV/HV systems, switchgear, and power distribution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical testing instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) projects.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and ensure timely project delivery.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and resource planning.
