Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

• Review and interpret electrical design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Prepare material submittals, shop drawings, and load calculations.
• Coordinate electrical work with mechanical, plumbing, civil, and architectural disciplines.
• Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, DEWA/ADDC/SEWA standards, and local authority approvals.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and project managers for technical discussions and approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure all work is carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards.
• Manage site execution teams and subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and procurement of materials.
• Prepare project documentation including method statements, progress reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in an established MEP contracting firm in the UAE.
• Basic skills in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• UAE driving license (preferred).
