Electrical Engineer

Overview:

Marmi Engineering Co. W.L.L. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage all electrical aspects on our construction sites. This critical role involves ensuring the electrical installations and operations comply with all national standards and meet our project requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of hands-on electrical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Project Management:

• Oversee electrical installations to ensure they conform to engineering designs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage on-site electrical resources, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely project progress.

Technical Support and Problem Solving:

• Provide technical expertise on electrical systems, resolving issues that arise during construction.
• Develop solutions to complex electrical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Conduct regular inspections and tests on electrical systems to verify their compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Implement quality control procedures and report any non-compliance or defects for corrective action.

Safety and Risk Management:

• Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols among all site personnel and subcontractors.
• Identify potential risks associated with electrical installations and take proactive measures to mitigate them.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of electrical plans, inspections, tests, and adjustments.
• Prepare detailed reports on electrical project progress, challenges, and outcomes for project stakeholders.

Coordination and Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure electrical integration into overall project plans.
• Facilitate communication between the project team and external parties, including local authorities and utility providers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Electrical Engineer, specifically within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in electrical engineering software and project management tools.
• Effective communication and leadership capabilities.
• UPDA Certificate
